उमास्वयंवरः / भवोद्वाहः, गणसमागमः, अविमुक्तक्षेत्रमाहात्म्यम्, तथा विनायक-उत्पत्तिसूचना
विष्टम्भो ऽष्टाभिर् एवेह गणपः सर्वसत्तमः पिप्पलश् च सहस्रेण संनादश् च तथा द्विजाः
viṣṭambho 'ṣṭābhir eveha gaṇapaḥ sarvasattamaḥ pippalaś ca sahasreṇa saṃnādaś ca tathā dvijāḥ
Di sini, ketua gaṇa Viṣṭambha—yang paling utama antara segala makhluk—berdiri dikelilingi oleh lapan rombongan. Demikian juga Pippala diiringi seribu, dan begitu pula Saṃnāda, bersama para dwija, para resi dua-kelahiran yang memuji serta menegakkan kemuliaan Tuhan.
