यद् यदिष्टतमं लोके यच्चापि दयितं गृहे / तत्तद् गुणवते देयं तदेवाक्ष्यमिच्छता

yad yadiṣṭatamaṃ loke yaccāpi dayitaṃ gṛhe / tattad guṇavate deyaṃ tadevākṣyamicchatā

Apa jua yang paling dikasihi di dunia, dan apa jua yang paling disayangi di rumah—sesiapa yang menginginkan pahala yang tidak binasa hendaklah memberikan tepat perkara itu kepada penerima yang berakhlak dan layak.
