Manvantaras, Indras, Saptarṣis, and the Seven Sustaining Manifestations; Vyāsa as Nārāyaṇa

षडेते मनवो ऽतीताः सांप्रतं तु रवेः सुतः / वैवस्वतो ऽयं यस्यैतत् सप्तमं वर्तते ऽन्तरम्

ṣaḍete manavo 'tītāḥ sāṃprataṃ tu raveḥ sutaḥ / vaivasvato 'yaṃ yasyaitat saptamaṃ vartate 'ntaram

Enam Manu ini telah berlalu; kini putera Surya, iaitu Vaivasvata, memerintah. Di bawahnya, inilah Manvantara ketujuh yang sedang berlangsung.
