Bhūrloka-Vyavasthā — The Seven Dvīpas, Seven Oceans, and the Meru-Centered Order of Jambūdvīpa

लक्षप्रमाणौ द्वौ मध्ये दशहीनास्तथा परे / सहस्त्रद्वितयोच्छ्रायास्तावद्विस्तारिणश्च ते

lakṣapramāṇau dvau madhye daśahīnāstathā pare / sahastradvitayocchrāyāstāvadvistāriṇaśca te

Di bahagian tengah ada dua (bentangan) yang masing-masing berukuran satu lakṣa; yang lain pula, demikian juga, kurang sepuluh pada ukurannya. Ketinggian mereka dua ribu, dan lebarnya pun sama kadar.
