अक्रूरस्य स्मृतः पुत्रो देववानिति विश्रुतः / उपदेवश्च पुण्यात्मा तयोर्विश्वप्रमाथिनौ

akrūrasya smṛtaḥ putro devavāniti viśrutaḥ / upadevaśca puṇyātmā tayorviśvapramāthinau

Akrūra dikenang mempunyai seorang putera yang masyhur bernama Devavān; dan seorang lagi putera bernama Upadeva, yang berhati suci. Kedua-duanya disebut sebagai penunduk segala kesengsaraan dan bencana dunia.
