जयध्वजस्तु मतिमान् देवं नारायणं हरिम् / जगाम शरणं विष्णुं दैवतं धर्मतत्परः

jayadhvajastu matimān devaṃ nārāyaṇaṃ harim / jagāma śaraṇaṃ viṣṇuṃ daivataṃ dharmatatparaḥ

Namun Jayadhvaja, bijaksana dalam pertimbangan dan tekun pada dharma, pergi berlindung kepada Hari yang ilahi—Nārāyaṇa, Viṣṇu—menjadikan-Nya satu-satunya dewa pilihannya.
