Adhyaya 242 — Bondage Through the Guṇas: Transmigration, Misidentification, and Ascetic Practices

मनुष्यत्वाच् च निरयं पर्यायेणोपगच्छति एष एवं द्विजातीनाम् आत्मा वै स गुणैर् वृतः //

Translation

Ayat ini (40) mengingatkan bahawa mendengar dan mengingati sabda suci membawa kepada pahala kebajikan dan kefahaman yang murni.
