This verse explains that specific demigods (the Mauhūrtikas) and the deity Muhūrtā administer karma’s fruits, delivering results to living beings according to their proper, appointed time.
They are a class of devas described here as responsible for granting the timely fruits of actions—ensuring that beings receive outcomes when their karmic time matures.
The shloka encourages patience and responsibility: keep acting dharmically, knowing results may not appear immediately but will manifest when the proper time arrives.
