उरुक्रमस्य देवस्य मायावामनरूपिण: । कीर्तौ पत्‍न्‍यां बृहच्छ्‌लोकस्तस्यासन् सौभगादय: ॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration

urukramasya devasya māyā-vāmana-rūpiṇaḥ kīrtau patnyāṁ bṛhacchlokas tasyāsan saubhagādayaḥ

Translation

Dewa Urukrama yang memiliki pelbagai śakti, dengan kuasa-Nya sendiri menampakkan diri dalam rupa Vāmana (kerdil). Dalam rahim isteri-Nya bernama Kīrti lahirlah putera bernama Bṛhatśloka, yang mempunyai ramai anak, diketuai oleh Saubhaga.
