Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
दितिरुत्थाय ददृशे कुमाराननलप्रभान् । इन्द्रेण सहितान् देवी पर्यतुष्यदनिन्दिता ॥ ६८ ॥
ditir utthāya dadṛśe kumārān anala-prabhān indreṇa sahitān devī paryatuṣyad aninditā
Kerana menyembah Tuhan Yang Maha Tinggi, Diti menjadi suci sepenuhnya. Ketika bangun dari pembaringan, dia melihat empat puluh sembilan puteranya bersama Indra. Mereka semua bersinar seperti api dan bersahabat dengan Indra; maka dewi yang tidak bercela itu amat gembira.
