FAQs

This verse compares a saint’s benedictions to life-giving rain—bestowing prosperity, good fortune, fame, and longevity as an expression of compassionate grace.

Because, like rain sustaining embodied beings, saintly persons sustain others through mercy—nourishing life with auspicious boons and spiritual goodwill.

Seek the company and guidance of genuinely saintly teachers, receive instruction with humility, and value blessings as encouragement toward righteous living and devotion—not merely worldly gain.
