Parīkṣit’s Inquiry into Vṛtrāsura’s Bhakti and the Beginning of Citraketu’s Trial
This verse compares the daily growth of pregnancy to the waxing moon in the bright fortnight, showing gradual, auspicious increase under divine potency.
Śūraseneśa refers to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the lord of the Śūrasena dynasty/region, whose potency is described as sustaining and empowering.
It emphasizes steady, day-by-day progress—spiritual or personal—supported by faith in divine guidance rather than impatience for instant results.
