In this verse, Lord Rāma, after being welcomed, enters the palace and respectfully honors the wives of His elders and His own mother, demonstrating dharma through humility and reverence.
The city is said to be “sotsavā”—filled with celebration—because the Lord’s return brings joy, auspiciousness, and a renewal of righteous rule.
Cultivate gratitude and humility by regularly offering respect to parents, teachers, and seniors—through service, kind speech, and responsible conduct.
