Purūravā’s Song of Renunciation and the Glory of Sādhu-saṅga
Even if one does not receive direct instructions from a pure devotee, simply by hearing him glorify the Supreme Personality of Godhead one can be purified of all sinful reactions caused by one’s involvement in illusion.
This verse says that among great devotees, narrations of Krishna naturally flow, and those who relish such hari-katha become thoroughly purified of sin.
Krishna is instructing Uddhava on the transformative value of saintly association, where constant discussion of the Lord arises and purifies the listener—an essential practice as Krishna prepares to depart from the world.
Seek regular association (in person or online) with sincere devotees, listen to and discuss Bhagavatam/Krishna teachings daily, and consciously “relish” the message—making it a steady habit rather than occasional inspiration.
