न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वत: साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जित: समदृङ्मुनि: ॥ १६ ॥
na stuvīta na nindeta kurvataḥ sādhv asādhu vā vadato guṇa-doṣābhyāṁ varjitaḥ sama-dṛṅ muniḥ
Seorang resi suci yang memandang dengan sama rata tidak memuji dan tidak mencela, walaupun melihat orang lain berbuat baik atau buruk, berkata betul atau salah. Dia bebas daripada dualiti sifat baik dan cela.
