तत्रासन् कतिचिच्चोरा: पालाश्च कतिचिन्नृप । मेषायिताश्च तत्रैके विजह्रुरकुतोभया: ॥ २७ ॥
tatrāsan katicic corāḥ pālāś ca katicin nṛpa meṣāyitāś ca tatraike vijahrur akuto-bhayāḥ
Dalam permainan itu, wahai Raja, ada yang berlakon sebagai pencuri, ada sebagai penggembala, dan ada sebagai biri-biri. Mereka bermain dengan gembira tanpa rasa takut.
This verse describes the boys in Vraja playing “without fear from any direction” (akutobhayāḥ), showing how life centered on Kṛṣṇa naturally becomes fearless.
He is portraying the simple, playful atmosphere of Vraja—children imitating roles from village life—while the narrative moves through Kṛṣṇa’s līlā around this time.
By cultivating Kṛṣṇa-centered remembrance and devotion, one learns to act with steadiness instead of anxiety—doing one’s duties while reducing fear-driven thinking.
