The Appearance of Lord Viṣṇu (Kṛṣṇa) and the Divine Exchange with Yoga-māyā
योऽयं कालस्तस्य तेऽव्यक्तबन्धो चेष्टामाहुश्चेष्टते येन विश्वम् । निमेषादिर्वत्सरान्तो महीयां- स्तं त्वेशानं क्षेमधाम प्रपद्ये ॥ २६ ॥
yo ’yaṁ kālas tasya te ’vyakta-bandho ceṣṭām āhuś ceṣṭate yena viśvam nimeṣādir vatsarānto mahīyāṁs taṁ tveśānaṁ kṣema-dhāma prapadye
Wahai pemula tenaga material, ciptaan yang menakjubkan ini berfungsi di bawah kawalan masa yang kuat, yang dibahagikan kepada saat, minit, jam dan tahun. Elemen masa ini hanyalah satu lagi bentuk Dewa Viṣṇu. Engkau bertindak sebagai pengawal masa, tetapi Engkau adalah takungan segala nasib baik. Izinkan aku menyerahkan diri sepenuhnya kepada-Mu.

Seeing the Lord’s divine presence, Devaki recognizes that even time and motion operate under Him, so she takes shelter of Him as the only safe refuge amid fear of Kamsa and worldly danger.
By remembering that time is under the Lord’s control, one can reduce anxiety about change and loss, and practice steady devotion and surrender to Krishna as the true source of security.
