dhruvāya pathi dṛṣṭāya tatra tatra pura-striyaḥ siddhārthākṣata-dadhy-ambu- dūrvā-puṣpa-phalāni ca
Ketika Dhruva Mahārāja melalui jalan, para wanita rumah tangga yang lemah lembut berkumpul dari merata tempat untuk melihat baginda; dengan kasih sayang keibuan mereka memberi berkat sambil menabur biji sawi putih, barli, dadih, air, rumput dūrvā yang muda, buah-buahan dan bunga. Sambil mendengar nyanyian mereka yang merdu, Dhruva pun memasuki istana ayahandanya.
This verse shows that when Dhruva was seen returning, people—especially the city women—honored him with auspicious offerings, reflecting reverence for a devotee blessed by the Lord.
These are traditional auspicious articles used to bless and honor someone returning in purity and success, and they expressed affectionate respect for Dhruva’s spiritual achievement.
Honor saintly people and spiritual practice with sincere respect—welcome goodness, devotion, and virtue in your home and community through supportive, uplifting actions.
