FAQs

Ayurvedic dhātu-knowledge: it defines ojas as the most refined essence derived from śukra and locates its primary seat in the heart while indicating its pervasion throughout the body.

It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s medical-technical coverage by embedding classical Ayurvedic physiology (ojas, dhātu-essence, anatomical distribution) alongside its many other subjects such as ritual, polity, and arts.

By identifying ojas as the refined life-supporting essence rooted in the heart, the verse implies that preserving vitality through disciplined living supports clarity, steadiness, and dharmic conduct—foundations for spiritual practice.
