Chapter 230: शकुनानि (Śakunāni) — Omens

गृहाद्गम्य यदा चासो व्याहरेत् पुरुतः स्थितः नृपावमानं वदति वामः कलहभोजने

gṛhādgamya yadā cāso vyāharet purutaḥ sthitaḥ nṛpāvamānaṃ vadati vāmaḥ kalahabhojane

Apabila seseorang, setelah keluar dari rumah, berdiri di hadapan lalu berkata-kata, dan dalam ucapannya menyatakan penghinaan terhadap raja—itulah petanda sial dari sebelah kiri, meramalkan pertengkaran dan perselisihan yang berkaitan dengan makanan atau waktu makan.
