न मे स्नानादिना कार्यं तर्प्पणैः किं प्रयोजनम् । जपहोमादिना सर्वमन्यथा मम चेष्टितम्

Transliteration

na me snānādinā kāryaṃ tarppaṇaiḥ kiṃ prayojanam | japahomādinā sarvamanyathā mama ceṣṭitam

Translation

मला स्नानादि कर्माची गरज नाही; तर्पणांचा काय उपयोग? जप, होम इत्यादी सर्व कर्मे माझ्यासाठी व्यर्थ झाली आहेत, जणू उद्दिष्टाच्या विरुद्धच केली गेली आहेत.
