gomatyāṃ snāti yo bhaktyā māghaṃ mādhavavallabham | samāptau raktavastrāṇi kañcukoṣṇīṣameva ca

जो भक्तिभावाने गोमतीत माधवप्रिय माघमासभर स्नान करतो, त्याने व्रतसमाप्तीला लाल वस्त्रे, कंचुक (अंगरखा) आणि उष्णीष (पगडी) दान करावे।
