nārada uvāca | mā khedaṃ deva deveśi devi tvadadhipe patau | dūrīkṛte vipraśāpātkuru kalyāṇi dhīratām
Nārada
Tirtha: Dvārakā (context)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as devadeveśī)
Scene: Nārada, compassionate yet firm, addresses the Devī with raised hand in reassurance (abhaya/āśvāsana gesture), while the Ocean remains as a calming presence behind her.
Steadiness arises from faith in the Lord’s sovereignty: even severe afflictions like a brāhmaṇa’s curse are ultimately resolved by divine will.
Dvārakā is the sacred backdrop where the Lord’s protective power and the sages’ guidance are showcased.
No formal ritual; the instruction is ethical-spiritual—cultivate dhairya and trust in the Lord.
