चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । हरिभक्तिविहीनानां द्वादशीव्रतवर्जिनाम् । नाशं न याति प्रेतत्वं पूजितैः शंकरादिभिः

candraśarmovāca | haribhaktivihīnānāṃ dvādaśīvratavarjinām | nāśaṃ na yāti pretatvaṃ pūjitaiḥ śaṃkarādibhiḥ

चंद्रशर्मा म्हणाला—हरिभक्तीहीन आणि द्वादशी-व्रत टाकून देणाऱ्यांचे प्रेतत्व नष्ट होत नाही; त्यांनी शंकरादी देवांची पूजा केली तरीही नाही।
