तं दृष्ट्वा देवदेवेशं श्रीवत्सांकं चतुर्भुजम् । रुरोद स ऋषिश्रेष्ठस्त्राहित्राहीत्युवाच च
taṃ dṛṣṭvā devadeveśaṃ śrīvatsāṃkaṃ caturbhujam | ruroda sa ṛṣiśreṣṭhastrāhitrāhītyuvāca ca
देवदेवेश, श्रीवत्सचिन्हांकित चतुर्भुज प्रभूला पाहून तो ऋषिश्रेष्ठ रडू लागला आणि म्हणाला—“त्राही, त्राही; मला वाचवा!”
