उद्धव उवाच । मयो नाम महादैत्यो मायावी लोकविश्रुतः । कृतं तेन सरः शुभ्रं तस्य नाम्ना च विश्रुतम्
uddhava uvāca | mayo nāma mahādaityo māyāvī lokaviśrutaḥ | kṛtaṃ tena saraḥ śubhraṃ tasya nāmnā ca viśrutam
उद्धव म्हणाला—मय नावाचा एक महादैत्य होता, मायावी म्हणून लोकप्रसिद्ध. त्यानेच हे शुभ्र सरोवर निर्माण केले, आणि ते त्याच्या नावानेच विख्यात आहे.
