विष्णोः पादप्रसूताया वैष्णवीति च विश्रुता । तत्र गत्वा महाभाग गृहीत्वाऽर्घ्यं विधानतः
viṣṇoḥ pādaprasūtāyā vaiṣṇavīti ca viśrutā | tatra gatvā mahābhāga gṛhītvā'rghyaṃ vidhānataḥ
विष्णूच्या पादातून उत्पन्न झाल्यामुळे ती ‘वैष्णवी’ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहे. हे महाभाग! तेथे जाऊन विधिपूर्वक अर्घ्य (जलार्पण) घेऊन अर्पण करावे.
