sa gacchanmarumārgeṇa māṃ samādāya snehataḥ | saṃprāpto nirjalaṃ deśaṃ suraudraṃ marumaṃḍalam

तो मरुमार्गाने जाताना स्नेहाने मला सोबत घेऊन गेला आणि निर्जल देशात—अत्यंत उग्र अशा मरुप्रदेशात—येऊन पोहोचला।
