एवं स समयं कृत्वा शक्रः स्वार्थपरायणः । बलिना सह चावासीदर्थशास्त्रपरो महान्
evaṃ sa samayaṃ kṛtvā śakraḥ svārthaparāyaṇaḥ | balinā saha cāvāsīdarthaśāstraparo mahān
अशा रीतीने करार करून, स्वार्थात तत्पर शक्र (इंद्र) बळीबरोबर राहू लागला; तो महान बळी अर्थशास्त्र-नीतीत पारंगत होता.
