विडंबिता स्वधा तत्र ऋषयश्च विडंबिताः । ववृषुस्ते पुरीषेण वितानाग्नौ रुपान्विताः
viḍaṃbitā svadhā tatra ṛṣayaśca viḍaṃbitāḥ | vavṛṣuste purīṣeṇa vitānāgnau rupānvitāḥ
तेथे स्वधेला विडंबित केले गेले आणि ऋषींनाही अपमानित केले. ते गण विविध रूपे धारण करून, यज्ञवितानाखाली वेदी-अग्नीवर मलवृष्टी करू लागले.
