Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brāhmaṇas
Scene: A man angrily cutting many leaves from a sacred Śrīvṛkṣa; as he shifts near the roots, the earth parts or the ground-level reveals a liṅga directly beneath his feet, catching his gaze.
The sacred reveals itself even amid anger and ignorance; proximity to a liṅga can pivot one’s actions toward devotion.
The Śrīvṛkṣa-root liṅga site within Kedārakhaṇḍa—presented as inherently sanctifying.
No direct prescription; it sets the physical context for offerings (leaves) to fall upon the liṅga.
