ऋषय ऊचुः । किन्नामा च किरातोऽभूत्किं तेन व्रतमाहितम् । तत्त्वं कथय विप्रेंद्र परं कौतूहलं हि नः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kinnāmā ca kirāto'bhūtkiṃ tena vratamāhitam | tattvaṃ kathaya vipreṃdra paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ
ऋषी म्हणाले—तो किरात कोणत्या नावाचा होता आणि त्याने कोणते व्रत धारण केले? हे विप्रेंद्र, तत्त्व सांगावे; आमचे कुतूहल फार आहे।
