मम वाक्यं महर्षे त्वं वद शीघ्रं यथातथम् । कुमारं च पुरस्कृत्य मया योद्धुं त्वमिच्छसि
mama vākyaṃ maharṣe tvaṃ vada śīghraṃ yathātatham | kumāraṃ ca puraskṛtya mayā yoddhuṃ tvamicchasi
'हे महर्षे! माझे हे बोलणे जसेच्या तसे लवकर सांग. कुमाराला (कार्तिकेयाला) पुढे करून तुम्ही माझ्याशी युद्ध करू इच्छिता.'
