तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तेषां सुहृदां वै हिमालयः । सम्यक्संकल्पमकरोद्ब्रह्ममा नोदितस्तदा । इमां कन्यां तुभ्यमहं ददामि परमेश्वर
tacchrutvā vacanaṃ teṣāṃ suhṛdāṃ vai himālayaḥ | samyaksaṃkalpamakarodbrahmamā noditastadā | imāṃ kanyāṃ tubhyamahaṃ dadāmi parameśvara
त्या सुहृदांचे वचन ऐकून हिमालयाने ब्रह्म्याच्या प्रेरणेने दृढ संकल्प केला व म्हणाला—हे परमेश्वरा! ही कन्या मी तुला अर्पण करीत आहे.
