ब्रह्मापि तं न जानाति मस्तकं परमेष्ठिनः । विष्णुर्गतो हि पातालं न दृष्टो हि तथैव च
brahmāpi taṃ na jānāti mastakaṃ parameṣṭhinaḥ | viṣṇurgato hi pātālaṃ na dṛṣṭo hi tathaiva ca
ब्रह्मालाही त्याचा शिखरभाग कळत नाही—तो तर परमेष्ठीच्या मस्तकाचा मुकुटच आहे। आणि विष्णू पाताळात जाऊनही त्याचा अंत तिथेही पाहू शकला नाही।
