Transliteration

gate tu bhārgave tasminbalirvirocanātmajaḥ | vāmanaṃ cārcayitvā sa mahīṃ dātuṃ pracakrame

तो भार्गव (शुक्राचार्य) निघून गेल्यावर, विरोचनपुत्र बळीने वामनभगवंताची विधिपूर्वक पूजा करून पृथ्वीदान करण्यास आरंभ केला।
