श्रद्धया परया पार्थ द्विजेभ्यः संप्रयच्छति । शतकोटिगुणं पुण्यं कोटितीर्थप्रभावतः । कोटितीर्थे प्रतिश्रुत्य द्विजेभ्यो न प्रयच्छति
śraddhayā parayā pārtha dvijebhyaḥ saṃprayacchati | śatakoṭiguṇaṃ puṇyaṃ koṭitīrthaprabhāvataḥ | koṭitīrthe pratiśrutya dvijebhyo na prayacchati
हे पार्थ, जो येथे परम श्रद्धेने ब्राह्मणांना दान देतो, तो कोटितीर्थाच्या प्रभावाने शत-कोटी पट पुण्य मिळवतो। पण कोटितीर्थात वचन देऊनही जो ब्राह्मणांना देत नाही, तो महापापाचा भागी होतो।
