सर्वसंधिगतश्चैव श्लेष्मणः श्लेष्मकृत्तथा । उरःस्थः सर्वगात्राणि स वै ह्यालंबकः स्थितः
sarvasaṃdhigataścaiva śleṣmaṇaḥ śleṣmakṛttathā | uraḥsthaḥ sarvagātrāṇi sa vai hyālaṃbakaḥ sthitaḥ
जो सर्व सांध्यांत व्यापलेला असून श्लेष्म (कफ) निर्माण करतो, तो ‘आलंबक’ उरःस्थ राहून देहातील सर्व अवयवांना आधार देऊन स्थिर करतो.
