नृत्यंति देवि पद्माक्षि प्रसीदेति पुनःपुनः । ततः प्रसन्ना सा देवी व्रियतां स्वेच्छयाऽह तान्
nṛtyaṃti devi padmākṣi prasīdeti punaḥpunaḥ | tataḥ prasannā sā devī vriyatāṃ svecchayā'ha tān
ते वारंवार नृत्य करीत म्हणू लागले—“हे देवी, पद्माक्षी, प्रसन्न हो!” तेव्हा देवी प्रसन्न होऊन त्यांना म्हणाली—“स्वेच्छेने वर मागा।”
