ब्रह्मणस्त्वं सुता देवी तुलानाम्नेति कथ्यते । तुकारो गौरवे नित्यं लकारो लघुनि स्मृतः
brahmaṇastvaṃ sutā devī tulānāmneti kathyate | tukāro gaurave nityaṃ lakāro laghuni smṛtaḥ
‘हे देवी, तू ब्रह्माची कन्या आहेस; तुला “तुला” या नावाने संबोधिले जाते. “तु” हा अक्षर नित्य गुरुत्व (भार) दर्शवितो आणि “ला” हा अक्षर लघुत्व स्मरवितो.’
