अनेन विधिना कर्णो भास्करार्घ्यं प्रयच्छति । ततः सूर्यस्य पार्थासावात्मवद्वल्लभो मतः
anena vidhinā karṇo bhāskarārghyaṃ prayacchati | tataḥ sūryasya pārthāsāvātmavadvallabho mataḥ
याच विधीने कर्ण भास्कराला अर्घ्य अर्पण करतो. म्हणून पृथापुत्र तो सूर्यदेवाला आत्म्यासारखा अत्यंत प्रिय मानला जातो.
