शुचित्वं च जपं स्थाणुं यः कुर्याद्विंशतिं तथा । माहेश्वरः स विज्ञेयः शेषोन्यो नामधारकः
śucitvaṃ ca japaṃ sthāṇuṃ yaḥ kuryādviṃśatiṃ tathā | māheśvaraḥ sa vijñeyaḥ śeṣonyo nāmadhārakaḥ
जो शुचित्व पाळून स्थाणु (शिव) यांचा जप विधिपूर्वक वीस वेळा करतो, तोच खरा माहेश्वर समजावा; उरलेले केवळ नावधारी आहेत।
