स्तोत्रैस्ततश्च संस्तूय दण्डवत्प्रणमेद्भुवि । क्षमापयेच्च देवेशं सुकृतं कुकृतं क्षम
stotraistataśca saṃstūya daṇḍavatpraṇamedbhuvi | kṣamāpayecca deveśaṃ sukṛtaṃ kukṛtaṃ kṣama
मग स्तोत्रांनी स्तुती करून भूमीवर दंडवत् प्रणाम करावा. आणि देवेशाकडे क्षमा मागावी— ‘माझे सुकृत व कुकृत, दोन्ही क्षमा करा’.
