एतेन श्रुतिशास्त्राणि पुराणं च वृतैव किम् । अग्रे सप्तर्षिपूर्वा ये ब्राह्मणाः क्षत्रिया भवन्
etena śrutiśāstrāṇi purāṇaṃ ca vṛtaiva kim | agre saptarṣipūrvā ye brāhmaṇāḥ kṣatriyā bhavan
जर असेच असेल, तर श्रुति-वेद, शास्त्रे आणि पुराण यांचा उपयोग तरी काय? प्राचीन काळी सप्तर्षींपूर्वीचे जे ब्राह्मण होते, ते पुढे कर्मभूमिकेत क्षत्रिय झाले.
