निःश्वस्य पितरो देवा यांति दातुः फलं न हि । तस्माद्युगेषु सर्वेषु दानमेव प्रदीयते
niḥśvasya pitaro devā yāṃti dātuḥ phalaṃ na hi | tasmādyugeṣu sarveṣu dānameva pradīyate
उसासा टाकून पितर व देव निघून जातात, कारण दात्याला अभिप्रेत फळ मिळत नाही। म्हणून सर्व युगांत विधिपूर्वक दानच द्यावे।
