सर्वं यत्तद्देहि मे द्रव्यमुक्तं भुवं च मे सप्तगव्यूतिमात्राम् । भूयात्त्वत्तोप्यस्य रक्षेति सोऽपि मेने त्वहं चिंतये चार्थशेषम्
sarvaṃ yattaddehi me dravyamuktaṃ bhuvaṃ ca me saptagavyūtimātrām | bhūyāttvattopyasya rakṣeti so'pi mene tvahaṃ ciṃtaye cārthaśeṣam
“जे धन सांगितले आहे ते सर्व मला दे, आणि सात गव्युती एवढी भूमीही मला दे.” तोही ‘याचे रक्षण तुझ्याकडूनच होवो’ असे मनात धरून मान्य झाला; पण मी उरलेल्या कार्याचा विचार करू लागलो.
