दृष्ट्वा च स्थापितं लिंगं शिवस्तुष्टो वरं ददौ । येषां मृतशरीराणामत्र दाहः प्रजायते
dṛṣṭvā ca sthāpitaṃ liṃgaṃ śivastuṣṭo varaṃ dadau | yeṣāṃ mṛtaśarīrāṇāmatra dāhaḥ prajāyate
स्थापित लिंग पाहून शिव प्रसन्न झाले व वर दिला—ज्यांच्या मृतदेहाचा येथे दाहसंस्कार होतो, त्यांना विशेष पुण्यफल प्राप्त होते.
