यं समासाद्य वेगेन दिशामंतं प्रपेदिरे । दक्षस्य दश पुत्राणां सहस्राणि प्रजापतेः
yaṃ samāsādya vegena diśāmaṃtaṃ prapedire | dakṣasya daśa putrāṇāṃ sahasrāṇi prajāpateḥ
त्यास वेगाने प्राप्त करून ते दिशांच्या अंतापर्यंत पोहोचले—प्रजापती दक्षाच्या दहा पुत्रांचे ते सहस्रों समूह।
