जनस्तपस्तथा सत्यमिति चाकृतकं त्रयम् । कृतकाकृतयोर्मध्ये मर्हर्लोक इति स्मृतः
janastapastathā satyamiti cākṛtakaṃ trayam | kṛtakākṛtayormadhye marharloka iti smṛtaḥ
‘जन, तप आणि सत्य’—हे त्रयही ‘अकृतक’ (अरचित) लोक म्हणून ओळखले जाते. कृतक व अकृतक यांच्या मध्ये ‘महर्लोक’ असे स्मरणात आहे.
