नाभेः पुत्रश्च ऋषभ ऋषभाद्बरतोऽभवत् । तस्य नाम्ना त्विदं वर्षं भारतं चेति कीर्त्यते
nābheḥ putraśca ṛṣabha ṛṣabhādbarato'bhavat | tasya nāmnā tvidaṃ varṣaṃ bhārataṃ ceti kīrtyate
नाभीचा पुत्र ऋषभ झाला आणि ऋषभापासून भरत उत्पन्न झाला. त्याच्या नावावरून हे वर्ष ‘भारत’ म्हणून कीर्तित आहे.
